Someone that tries to make himself/herself look subserviant or put upon to a wide audience/crowd (for the image he/she wants to show publicly to gain an army that will combat an enemy), even though behind the scenes a lot of people in their life have done a lot of things for them without having gotten paid or credited for, and haven't asked to get paid or credited for.
He/she lived his/her life as a poser and a coward, and would even admit to being a coward when a large crowd wasn't around since it wasn't an incriminating thing to say about himself/herself, but when a crowd/group/party/gathering that he/she had a reputation with was around, he/she was all of a sudden tough as nails, a walking stick of dynamite, or anything he/she claimed to be.

The poser would say God Bless You when somebody sneezed in public, but would reveal that he/she never actually believed in God or the bible when it was just family, friends, or nobody (not the broader audience) around. After all of his/her talk about what other people did not want in their backyards, it turned out the one who was a different person outside their own backyard was him/her, not the Not in My Backyard folks (a clever abbreviation).

Someone trying to push an agenda of equality, justice, and hope, even though none of it is anything to them, none of it was ever sacred enough to them to be anything to them. Two sides don't have to agree or get along to be equal, since equality never meant any two people ever had to get along or agree on anything. Equality also doesn't mean two people have to be friends because they are equal. People are not better or worse than their enemies.
The poser claimed to be for equality, justice, reform, and hope, but really those were all surface matters in her power struglle for control of a town she wasn't originally from, and one that would never really be anything to her besides a playground.

The poser said she got something everyone else said they got so that she wouldn't be the only one among them that didn't get it, she would be part of their group, she would see herself as being in with the group, even if not everybody did see in her what she saw in herself, as not everyone was looking through the same narcissistic lens.
