How Greedy

A phrase said often in jest to imply the person is in possession of a lot but is still asking for more. Often used to imply the person should be happier with what they have.

It can also be used to suggest the person is taking a risk for self-gain despite having enough or done enough damage.

The green and grey

Refers to the Celtic fans who wear their Celtic tops every single day, no matter the occasion — weddings, funerals, court dates, christenings, job interviews. Over time, the green stays bold, but the white stripes turn grey through sweat, smoke, chip fat, Buckfast, and years of unrepentant wearing.
That family at Glasgow airport is The green and grey.

The Green Hill Effect

When a piece of media uses a part of their past (an era, setting, etc) in order to gain more positive reactions from its fan-base through nostalgia and familiarity. This reaction stays until the novelty wears off & the fans gets tired of it.
"Billie Piper is the new Doctor Who!"
"Oh my god, when will they stop bringing back old characters? This is just The Green Hill Effect happening again!"
