A strange feeling of discomfort and agony that occurs when a piece of media (be it a song, a movie, a videogame, a book, etc.) that you are extremely fond of which was once relatively unknown to the general public suddenly becomes extremely mainstream via social media or some other means of publicity, thus kinda ruining the personal connection you had made with that piece of media.

Get the Doppelgänger effectmug. An ironic occurrence when two situations happen either at the same time, or different times. When the blamed or the two people responsible (One at occurrence 1, one at occurrence 2) give strange but similar response or backup story. One will be lying and one will actually be telling the truth.
One person would accidentally break a peice of equipment, and the other person was accused of stealing something. Both of the people accused know nothing about the other or seen each other, but the person blaming both of them know them a certain way. Both of them give the same statement.
"I did not do it, I wouldn't have anything to do with it, why think I do such a thing?"
One is lying, one is innocent. Stillusion Effect was occurring.
