stretching feelings

After having caught feelings for someone but not telling them thereby keeping yourself in an awkward and miserable state. You go through the stages of anxiety, sadness, and butterfly belly. It's terrible.

The concept of having a set of expectations that are not required but if met, add positive weight to a person’s actions/answers. If not met, no negative weight is incurred.

Expectation: I expect the candidate to share something they learned that demonstrates their excitement about discovering new things. A stretchpectation is if the candidate includes how they shared this information with people without prompting from the interviewer.
