A sport played during a mid-life crisis. A semi-athletic activity where grown adults pretend they’re chill but are actually aggressively competing with plastic frisbees in public parks. Often includes cargo shorts, existential dread, and an IPA.

One of the reasons the sandhills is a great place to live, since sandhills golf is more interesting than city mailbox sports, as long as the mailbox stays open while you're on the hole.

The closest mailbox will usually be a par 11 or higher, so you can play sandhills mailbox golf all day long if you're playing 18 holes.
