Haulin' is when you see way too many pickup trucks or other street cars towing random shit around town. The towed goods range from lawn mowers to clans of banditos, refrigerators to molded crapped on sofas, trash bags full of dirty diapers, to just straight up more haulin' gear (trucks and trailers). In places like Texas haulin' is a 24/7/365 affair. Just look around and you'll see somebody haulin' something

Haulin' ass to nowhere 

1. - Driving recklessly at a high rate of speed and passing other vehicles only to arrive at the same stop light or the same position in traffic as everyone else.

2. - Pointlessly passing another car at a high rate of speed in heavy traffic only to end up behind the same car 30 seconds later showing other drivers that you either have no depth perception or a small dick.

1. - John was late for work on Friday. Despite his best effort to maneuver through heavy traffic, he ended up haulin' ass to nowhere and was late anyway.

2. - "Hey, isn't that guy behind you the same guy who cut you off about two minutes ago?" "Yeah, it sure is." "Obviously he was haulin' ass to nowhere."

Haulin the mail 

"hauling the mail"... a phrase used to define a vehicle, human, or other object moving at an incredable rate. (faster then the object would typically move)

The first time i heard this i was in minnesota watching a riding lawn mower do a wheelie down a side road then take off down mainstreet. the rider recieved a ticket for speeding. The thought behind this phrase is simple.. mail men get you you're mail usually overnite... from places all over the country, not much is faster then that. hence "hauling the mail"
