The Chrell Effect

“The Chrell Effect” is the phenomenon of a user losing magnitudes of MMR points in rocket league when playing with user ‘chrelleren’ or an associated account.

Usually due to unintentional throwing by user ‘chrelleren’, the user starts to rapidly lose MMR points within the first hour of playing, before falling into the trap of continued queueing.

The chrell effect has had a drastic effect on the future of many rocket league players.

“Hey man, how is it in your GC lobbies?” “Oh actually I’m not GC anymore, I fell to diamond” “no way, how did you lose over 200 MMR?” “The Chrell Effect”.
