Get the monk fruit daddymug. The guy thought he was supposed to be the girl's sugar daddy, he thought that as a male that was what he owed a female. Therefore, he put up with any shit she tried to give him. To her, any sign of kindness was weakness, but he ignored that to keep doing all this shit he really never had to do for the girl (without really having a good reason to keep doing shit for the girl). He also started to think anything she thought was hilarious became hilarious to him, since they were no longer different people, they were the same person. He thought that he also had to become unkind (or at least wear the facade of someone unkind), to be the same person as his wife.
