The term originated from the observation that they resemble the faeces of robots, being both metallic and the shape of a passed stool.

Robot-Bop

Robo Bop is a colorful, attractive tower of flashing lights and sound, in the form of a "Friendly Robot". It is a children's skill game testing strength and eye hand coordination. After inserting the coin the player selects the male or female category and then 1 of 4 age groups. The player then strikes the pad on the robot using a soft mallet. The harder the hit the higher the score and ticket award.
