The excuse a person will use to justify cutting their full-time job down to part-time in order to receive unearned tax payer money to help pay for their personal shit they could of paid for before cutting their hours.

Guy: Yeah but if you had the money to pursue your dreams you wouldn't be working full time.

laser lock

Occurs when you have your eye on something you want or need and you're competing with one or more people for the same thing, like a seat on the train or a much-coveted book. It's as if you had shone an imaginary laser pointer at the seat or book, in order to claim your right to have it.
