A device created by Apple in 2007 to allow the fingertips to control a device. The iPhone also brought modern web browsers, touchscreen games, and the ability to have an entire PC in the palm of many people’s hands. From this technology, companies like Samsung and Google made their own versions. Samsung created the “Galaxy” line of phones and Google created the “Nexus”, which was discontinued in the 2010’s for the more controlled replacement, the “Pixel”. So far, Apple has continued making new versions with better hardware and software.
