THE GHOST ~ POP TAPE

The last album by the musician DeVon Hendryx (That now formally goes by JPEGMAFIA). The album is known by many by its most common theme, to be dark, slow, sad, ambient, reverbed and lofi. The album lyrical themes also dive into self reflective topics like sexuality, suicide, relationships and being comfortable with going through a depression. When it was released it found critical acclaim for being as open and transparent as it is, and even blew up more as JPEGMAFIA started to get more traction in later years.

duct tape code

Code that just about works, hanging together from borrowed code, ineffective classes and functions.

Often this is the result of bad planning, or an iterative approach to fixing bugs over time.

TAPE Effect

When a party is being thrown and someone either texts the host, or somebody at the party, if they can show up even though they were not originally invited.

Sonya texted Alfred at 10:30 if she and two friends could pull up to Byron’s function even though the party was already in full swing. Sonya contributed to the TAPE Effect. This and opening a pack of gum in class in front of everybody give off the same energy. Everybody wants a piece.

An audio or video recording that is sealed from the public. Done mainly by governments and large companies. Should the tape leak, they lose a lot of credibility.

The black tapes of the oval office were seized by Nixon so he couldn't get impeached.

FNAF VHS tapes

Short yet creepy (canon) videos that add more lore and lore information to Five Nights at Freddy's. Sometimes it's about employee training tapes, people testing the animatronics, characters speaking to you (no voice, just text) and it all has... eerie background music or silence when it's about the characters speaking to you. Go watch some of them!!

Person 1: Dude.. I just watched some FNAF VHS tapes today, it was terrifying but had a lot of lore!!
Person 2: Wow... you are brave...
