In Monty Python's the Meaning of Life, the machine that goes "ping" is a device that doctors use to determine that the baby they're delivering is alive.

It is also the most expensive machine in the whole hospital.

"Aah! I see you have the machine that goes ping. This is my favourite. You see, we lease this back from the company we sold it to, and that way, it comes under the monthly current budget and not the capital account."

Best sitcom of the early 21st Century, bar none. It beats Friends only because its funnier (most of the time)and because some of the people in it are not douchbags and blaze up once in a while .

That's so edge

Describes the fact or personal belief that the previously stated or shown thought, idea, creation etc. is perceived by the speaker to be amazing in every sense; flawless.

John: " I'm tired of my 6 string guitar, it's the same old thing and it's boring. I'm gonna get a double-neck!"
Steve: " That's pretty cool."
John: "One neck will have 7 strings and the lower one will be a 5 string bass!"
Steve: "Wow, that's not a bad idea."
John: "And it shall be wireless, and cook bacon inside it while you play!"
Steve: "Dude, that's so edge."

that moment

While this phrase was previously used to preface a statement with which the speaker or writer attempts to relate to the audience's or readership's similar experiences, the phrase is now primarily used on social media arbitrarily to describe any experience the social media user wants no matter how idiosyncratic.

Example of Previous Use:

Speaker: That moment when you realize you've fallen in love.

Listener: Oh yeah, that moment...

Example of Current Use:

Writer: That moment when you've been abducted by aliens and you realize you really should have voted for John McCain.

Reader: Oh yeah, THAT moment...

That's No Good!

Kids, there's nothing more cool than being hugged by someone you like, but if someone tries to touch you in a place or a way that makes you feel uncomfortable........

That's no good! It's your body! No one has the right to touch you if you don't want them to! So what do you do? First, you say no. Then, you get out of it! Most important, you gotta tell someone you trust, like your parents, your teacher, a police officer!
