Calling Clinton a draft-dodger for getting a college deferment, while ignoring the fact that Dubya pulled strings to get himself past thousands of other people on the waiting list for the Texas Air National Guard after scoring in the 25th percentile on his flight test.

With enough media manipulation, people might actually think Governer Bush can find Canada on a map.

What modern social media has become because of the amount of censorship as part of a march toward socialism.

What a neo-conservative republican usually thinks and says about the mainstream US Media when he/she watches too much FOX News.

FOX News is the only fair & balanced news channel, the rest are all just biased left wing media!

media-jack

verb. (media-jacking, media-jacked, media-jacker)
Using the term "jack" (used here as "to steal") this refers to the situation in which one person is using one medium (of entertainment or otherwise) and another person 'jacks' the other person's attention to another medium.

For example, when one person is listening to music and playing on the computer and another person puts on a movie for the first person to watch.

Person one (the "media-jacker") -"Hey watch this awesome movie!"
Person two-"Aw, dude can't it wait? I'm facebooking and got some music on."
*movie begins, audibly trumping the music and dominating the attention of person two*

mediaist

1.A person against government and/or the media, but not wanting an anarchy.
2.A person with views of faults within a government or the media.

The band Rise Against is a good example. John is a mediaist, he doesn't believe the news covers everything it should. Tiffany is into politics but is a mediaist so she doesn't have any typical views.
