A concept which trys to break the mold of "conformity".... this has innevitably backfired. As you can see in many urban places scene kids fester in swarms and are hard to tell apart because well.... they are all the same even guys and girls are usually indistinguisable.

Get the Scenemug. Kids between the ages of 12-16 who wear skinny jeans that are like a size 0, and they wear Band T-shirts.
There hair HAS to be either blonde or black. And the girl's hair has to look like a greasy, messed up mullet that they tease so much they get split ends. As for the guy's hair, it's the exact same except they straighten there hair so much until they it gets heat damage.
There makeup has to make them look like a washed out raccoon, the more eyeliner and concealer there wearing, the better.
And they always have a Myspace or Facebook, and they take about 950 pictures of themselves a day doing the SAME. EXACT. POSES. Mostly the camera up high with peace signs, and then they edit them all on photoshop.
They usually like to pretend to be bisexual when most of them are really not, and the girls go online and talk like this: ''lulzdonttalktomekthanksbaiiii'' or ''OMGthanksooomuchbabyyyyoursooohotxoxoxoxololzluvukthanksbaiii''.

- listen to many bands that not that many have heard of ( because all they watch is freakin mtv, where every song sounds like the other)
- you enjoy going to music venues, to either support your friends who most likely are in a band, or to hang out with your friends and have a great time.
I hate it when people say, your scene..since you like robots, dinosours.. ect. That is total b.s.
Most of the kids who leave freakin defitinions and say crap about scene kids are just jelous, since they actually have a social life, unlike them.. who sit at home at night writing absolute crap.
Scene kids are some of the coolest kids you'll ever meet.

The latest in Emo/Hardcore/Indie/Metalcore (All of that shit, you know, it's all the same) which requires the people in it's "scene" to wear tight clothing, key clips on their pants, and band shirts. Multitudes of others along the same lines wear scarves, eyeliner, girl pants (for boys), black nail polish, zip hoodies/track jackets, and vintage clothing.
