The word is combined with two parts "Nine" and "Leaky Fish."
Leak fish means the fish slipped out from the fishnet.
Nine means China's nine-year basic education.
Currently, 95% of teenagers in China have finished this education, which makes leaky fish rare.
The words are trending in China because of the actor "Wang Yi Bo." In a live-steaming commercial activity. He supposes to write Chinese "到此一游，" which means "Come here for a trip. " He writes it wrong, and something like "Come here for a trap."
