Fifth Alternate

Term used by Alyssa Edwards in Rupaul’s Drag Race All Stars 2. A fifth alternate is someone that should’ve been fifth but instead it was sixth in line. In fact back in her season she was in the top 6 after she lost her lipsync versus Coco Montrese, saying the she should have been top 5 without being shady.

And I was a lovely...fifth alternate.

Did I you see that lipsync? She is surely a fifth alternate.

1. A derisive term to describe a person or persons who will blindly back and senselessly support literally anything president donald john trump says, thinks or does, no matter the incongruity with their own ethics, morals, standards or spiritual beliefs.
