Everyone knows at least one tippy. She is the dumb bitch that ends up hanging out with your crew until the guy she's dating finds out that she also screwed everyone else in the group. A tippy is generally pretty attractive and keeps her skankiness in check until she's "in" with your crew.

Being laid off from a company, usually in one of several large rounds of layoffs. Generally refers to working in a cubicle and somebody from Human Resources comes up from behind, taps you, and asks if you've "got a minute" to talk in the conference room.
