When a person exhibits largely positive mannerisms that have a jubilating effect to oneself, they are described as ‘Hard in Life’. Alternatively, when something positively benefits oneself, or emits an aura of coolness and positivity it can be described as ‘hard in life’. However, objects can also emit 'hard in life vibes'. It heavily varies, depending on the concurrent circumstances.

The sad, lonely, aging individual that resorts to dying their greying hair in hopes of fooling the oppisite sex into being attracted to them not realizing that they are Revealing more about themselves than they are covering up.

When people be gettin tattoos on they face, neck, and hands only. Thus giving them the appearance of being "hard" and all covered with tattoos...only when they wear hoodies, which they do at all times. Most of the time there is no tattoos anywhere on the rest of their bodies, but only those visible while wearing a hoodie. There is usually nothing "hard" at all about these individuals, and the tattoos have a distinct juvenile correctional institution look to them.

Similar to vegetables greens, however hard greens are those that are more pronounced and bitter. Romain lettuce is a green, where as spinach is a hard green. Beet greens would also be considered hard greens.
Susan: "We're having salad tonight."
Logan: "Does it have hard greens in it?"
Susan: "Yes. It has spinach instead of Romain lettuce."
