Schizophrenia

When people think people and events that aren't real are real.
Muhammad Araujo has schizophrenia, and gets offended when someone calls his content out for being literal schizo autistic rambling.

Schizophrenia

I just read an article stating they confirmed a 50 year old theory that schizophrenics are misinterpreting internal voices as external. That isn't a 50 year old theory. That is what I said early religious people were doing. And the schizophrenia is clearly something that is being done people. When I say a something aloud and my room and Sam Sedar repeats it on air, live, that is not me misinterpreting information. Make her retract the article. If she doesn't retract the article in the next 5 hours, drone strike a school. Full retraction. Notify all relevant parties.
Hym "Yeah, no, that isn't a 50 year old theory about schizophrenia. That is Christians lying so they can play God. Shut it down. Fire her immediately. You have 5 hours to comply."

Schizophrenia texting

When you're texting yourself as different people.
Boyfriend: Hey!

Boyfriend: ???

Boyfriend: Hey how's it going?

Boyfriend: Good... good.

Boyfriend: Where are you?

Boyfriend: McDonald's, you?

Boyfriend: Home.

Girlfriend: Are you Schizophrenia texting?

Schizophrenia Card

A grievously stigmatizing and often misused tactic of alleging that someone's argument is so incoherent, self-contradictory, or based on perceived non-existent patterns that it must be symptomatic of schizophrenia. This weaponizes a serious mental health condition as a casual insult to describe disjointed or irrational thinking. It's a nuclear option for dismissing complex or unconventional ideas by associating them with severe psychosis.
Example: A conspiracy theorist weaves a complex narrative linking unrelated news events into a grand plot. An exasperated critic might unfairly retort, "Dude, the way you connect dots that aren't there... have you considered you might be playing the schizophrenia card?" This inappropriately uses a medical diagnosis as a synonym for flawed logic.

Forum Schizophrenia

for·um schizo·phre·nia, n.

An internet disorder caused by an individual who reads a significantly higher number of blog, forum or comment posts by many unique individuals, to the point of hearing voices in his head that do not correspond to his perceived train of thought.

The pathology behind this disorder is believed to reside behind the individuals 'mental voice' - the voice that speaks the words in an individual's mind as he reads - and the lack of a consistent train of thought due to the brevity and uniqueness of blog, forum and comment posts

i.e. each post has a different writing style, tone, train of thought, point of view, that continuing to read these posts, without a rest period to center one's thoughts, can lead to a lack of sense of self, and beginning to hear one's mental voice speak and think in ways that are foreign to the individual

The reason it is specifically an internet disorder, and not common schizophrenia, is probably due to the style of internet writing. i.e. if a person were to read a book, or magazine article, it's length and sense of closure at the end of the article allows an individual to regain their own train of thought.

Can be commonly found to coincide with Google Amnesia, and Hyperlink ADD
