Leave Ohara Out of It

Phrase used in certain parts of Delaware county to combat cognitive dissonance. Typically used in retaliation when facts are laid out that combat elements of an individuals masculinity or self identity. For example, a St. Eugene’s kid that feels uncomfortable about going to Ohara instead of Bonner for any number of reasons might tell his friend - rather than saying “fuck off danny” - “leave ohara out of it Danny.”

German catchphrase (original: Mach doch Mal ein Argument draus) used by people who are unable to come up with practical solutions to any problem whatsoever.

Translates roughly to "make an argument out of it".

Used primarily by losers if they are literally helpless to change anything about their own condition.

Sailor man: Captain, we are heading towards an iceberg, you need to turn around, so we don't crash!

Captain: Make an argument out of it.

Pull it out of my ass

When you have no time, are unprepared, or don't know what you're doing... You're pulling it out of your ass. Commonly used in situations where a person may have procrastinated or waited until the last minute to prepare anything, or is put in position where they must perform or answer questions on things they have no idea about.

My boss just came and asked me for a summary of customer info and I had to pull it out of my ass.
