Someone who put too much effort into tiny things, things that don't require that much effort, especially in that of a school/work scenario. People who overthink and study too hard, people who procrastinate on little things such as buying a theme park pass even though they would like to go, and people who are too scared to start new shows because their past favorites are holding them back.

Person 1 "Hey, Jackson is kind of a lardog"

Person 2 "Really? Why do you say that?"

Person 1 "They studied for 8 hours straight to take a 10 point test!"
