lazy dater

Someone who goes on so many dates that he/she becomes lazy about it. Usually in reference to someone who dates via online dating sites. The lazy dater will choose a location close to home, wear the same outfit to each date, tell the same stories, etc.

I’ve been on so many OKCupid dates that I’ve become a lazy dater. If I can listen to the entire long version of “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” on the drive to her house; it’s too far. My Banana Republic pull over sweater is starting to fray and I can’t tell the story of “what I do for a living” anymore. Just set me down in my local bar, buy me a drink and let’s get on with it.

Someone who systematically dates every person in a group of friends. Usually occurring in groups of high school girls with similar personalities or appearances.

An after darker is someone who only listens or knows the song "After Dark" by Mr.Kitty, and or only cares about "After Dark" and doesn't check out his other songs. Actual fans of Mr.Kitty who like After Dark are NOT after darkers.
