Bruv is a slang term used widely by chavs (council house affiliated vermin), it is commonly used amongst those who do not know the basic English language. They are used by people who wear tiny Adidas bags on the side and the sideways cap which most likely says Nike on it, and the occasional pocket knife.

Be real careful, if you are called Bruv, don't turn around because it is most likely a pack of Chavs whom are determined to hurt you. Run as fast as you can, don't look back. Trust.
