when youre listening to the radio. this is often used when texting to avoid use of more letters than nessecary. instead of saying "listening to the radio"

Radio

A source of media in which an AM or FM station broadcasts though a transmitter and is received through a tuner. Radio stations come in many genres like talk radio, hit music, rock, country, sports talk, religious broadcasting, etc. A typical FM/AM Radio in America ranges from the frequencies of 87.7 to 107.9 on the FM band and 530 to 1710 on the AM band.
