Prejudice against a stereotype: Judging someone based on a preconceived notion about a group they’re associated with (e.g., "All software engineers are socially awkward" or "All athletes are arrogant").

assuming that someone who dresses in a "goth" style (e.g., black clothing, heavy makeup) is automatically depressed, antisocial, or obsessed with dark themes is stereocist.

The Stereos

The Stereos is an amazing pop band with two albums called Uncontrollable and a self titled one. They're amazing. Members are~ Pat Kordyback, Daniel Johnson, Robb Chalifoux, Miles Holmwood and Aaron Verdonk. All heavily tattooed white boy hipsters, with the popular songs Summer Girl and Throw Ya Hands Up. I love them.

Generational Stereotypes

Boomer - Hates change. Mocks younger generations.
Millennial - In debt. Addicted to phone. Hates boomers.
Gen X - Millennial is probably your mom. Gen X is probably your dad. Nobody cares about this.
Gen Z - Hates boomers. Addicted to videogames. Immature. Whiny. Brat.
Gen Alpha - It's yours, fellow stereotyper!

Generational Stereotypes
Millennial: You're such a boomer!
Boomer: You are addicted to your phones! The good old days were better!
Gen Z: Ok Boomer.

mixed stereotype

We all fit one stereotype or another, a lot of people fit multiple! These people are called mixed stereotypes.

Example: I would be considered a shy kid kind of geek who's also kind of a class clown but in a German exchange student way except I swear off alcohol with a hint of teacher's pet.

1: yo I've met people who fit like with like stereotypes and stuff but you don't fit just one like you fit with like multiple
2: okay first of all stop saying "like", and second of all that's because I'm a mixed stereotype

nat stereotype

A nat stereotype typically appears when a young teenage mexican girl of a brown skin color of some sort with bangs and eyeliner appears slightly emo, which here in the imperial valley, people would say she would look like nat first glance.

boy 1:"yo that girl kinda looks like nat"
boy 2: "thats a whole nat stereotype"

Gender Stereotypes

basically a view where certain roles are expected on girls and boys. for example, young girls are expected to like barbies and ponies, while young boys are expected to like cars and dinosaurs. for clothing, women and girls are expected to wear skirts and dresses, while boys and men are expected to wear pants and trousers. gender stereotypes may affect a childs views.

gender stereotypes look like this:

"lana: broooo I GOT MY ASS WHOPPED BY MY AUNT JUST FOR WEARING PANTS???"

mike: "my friends all called me gay just because i liked barbies and wanted to be in ballet???"

james: "i was slapped by my dad for just wearing a dress!"

isabella: "some girls asked me why do i have a spiderman backpack at school today....."
