Ghetto Move

When you’re moving a short distance so rather than using traditional moving methods you just walk your stuff to the new place piece by piece.

We are just moving to the apartment complex next door so I think it would be cheaper if we do a ghetto move.

Moving The Mouse

Treading water, doing the minimum to get by. Originated from working on a "PC" or Personal Computer. If there is no activity for several minutes in a row, the screen will go blank or a screensaver pops up, showing your co-workers that you are not doing any work (both in the office and monitoring remotely). So to "Move the Mouse" is to do just enough to get by as to not be outed as a slacker or non-productive.

"I'm just moving the mouse until I can cut out of work at 5:00"

A maneuver so amateur in nature that it could only be committed in a college club sport setting. Originally used to describe actions pertaining to athletics, "club move" has colloquially come to mean a more general "scrub move" or "novice/rookie mistake."
