Teenage adults are for the first time entitled to many new legal rights, and subjected to new societal expectations. Unique from other stages of adulthood such as twenties, thirties, ect. in that it only lasts two years as opposed to ten. How many responsibilities this entails varies from person to person and is still influenced by their level of dependance on their family for food, housing, and money.
