Someone who enrolled her daughter in soccer as a result of playing the sport for years during her youth and young adult life. What she learned from competing on a team would form a foundation in critical life skills such as confidence, teamwork, sacrifice, selflessness, and countless others. This foundation would ultimately set her up for adult life success, be it in enabling her family, serving as a community leader, or progressing in her career. Although unassuming while wearing workout clothes from her
kids’ soccer sidelines, she is so much more than the traditional
stereotype/
definition of this term.
