probably the worst place you could go to if you're actually trying to party in college. although some of the people here are cool, the school is actually gay as shit. it's where everyone knows your name and every single fucking thing about you. its where the after parties turn into middle school dances because public safety can't handle a couple drunken fights. its where people with no life sit in their rooms making random anonymous phone calls to PS full of fake complaints just hoping to see someone get raided and written up. The bottom line is the mount is NOT a university, its just grades 13-16. This is Mount Saint Mary's High School, bitch! hooray, we suck.

Are you going out on the shant tonight? (i.e. are you going out on the beer?) He was completely shanted last night? (He was very drunk). I first came across this as student slang in the late 1980s. I used it in a novel 'Fishing for Angels', which was drafted in the early 1990s and published in 1997 by Interstate in a compilation of fiction (The Casino Kid, Roger Frederick ISBN: 1 871604 03 6).The main character goes for a pizza with a girl he's just met and after a mix-up over glass sizes they both consumer 4 pints of strong lager. In the text, it is used thus:

"By the time we'd finished our second tankards of Kronenberg, I have to say I was feeling pretty merry myself. Turtle was completely shanted."

A newspaper review at the time cited the novel as a prime example of the way literature was being dumbed down by the use of slang and inproper grammar. I was well made up! :-)

saint mary's girl

a smart, interesting, opinionated girl. she is not an alcoholic, druggie, or easy because not all girls at saint marys are that way. she may be spoiled, but she's not bitchy. and girls at broughton are just jealous because they lose all they guys to saint marys girls. HA!

saint marys college highschool

A college prepatory highschool from grades 9-12. Probably the only private highschool in the bay area that doesn't wear uniforms. Very diverse and fun. Their rivals are Salesian Highschool in Richmond Ca. Saint Marys is located in Berkeley Ca. It has great teachers,academics,and sports.The best private school to attend!!!

City in Michigan. Full of rich raciest snobs and fags.
Almost all white. Opposite of Sister city Benton Harbor.
With two major schools Lakeshore and SJ that fight recklessly for no reason at all.
