HIM Nicholas I was Emperor and Autocrat of All the Russias, Grand Duke of Finland, and King of Poland from 1 December 1825 to his death on 18 February 1855 and lived from 25 June 1796 to 18 February 1855, passing away at the age of 58 due to pneumonia.

He stood against revolutionary ideology, having crushed the proto-woke/proto-Bolshevik Decembrist Revolt at his ascension in 1825 at the age of 29. He also opposed the July Revolution of 1830 in France that overthrew Charles X and in 1848 had assisted the Austrian Empire in crushing the Hungarian Revolution of 1848.
HIM Nicholas I also sought to liberate the Christians living under the tyrannical oppression of the Ottoman Empire. Sadly, Napoleon III had opposed the good cause of HIM Nicholas I and intervened on behalf of the Ottomans, sparking the Crimean War in the process.
