In addition to the more well-known definitions, cunt actually traces its roots back to the Victorian era insane asylums in the UK where CUNT was an anacronism for a woman who doesn't understand established rule of thought by society:

If you think about the usage today, it's mostly appropriate. Almost exlusively applied to women (more freely used towards men as well in the UK and OZ) under extraordinary circumstances when a man can't understand or thinks a woman is stupid, therefore, a cunt.

A very harsh sounding word, considered by Americans to be the most offensive word you can call a woman. It can get you slapped or kicked in the balls. In the rest of the Anglosphere, particularly Australia, it can be something that friends call each other casually, albeit somewhat facetiously. Still, avoid saying it around American women and white knights.

Probably the best word in the English language alongside the word fuck. Cunt can be used in any context, in any situation to describe absolutely anything or anyone.

As far as I know this cunt is only used in so many ways and not thought of as offensive in Australia
