Honorary Black Friend

The black person in a group of majority white people. The purpose of the Honorary Black friend is to demonstrate "diversity" in a group. They are also good for insight on black culture.

A phrase used to show support for a African American. Generally this phrase is used to show support of a black person largely based upon his or her race, but not always. This phrase is often used to show support of the first black president of the United States, Barack Obama, and his policy of "Change."
