When you and a friend make a solemn pact to do something, but then your friend starts being all lame about it and wants to back out - so they start trying to modify the pact to be easier for them.

Friend 1: "Dude, remember how we agreed to both go skydiving?"

Friend 2: "Yeah, we are all over that bro!"

Friend 1: "Actually, I just peed my pants about that - can't we just play with our GI-JOEs instead?

When a controversial member of an online forum leaves or is kicked out of a group and people keep posting about said user, causing more controversy, this is necrotrolling. The OT (original Troll) has managed to maintain a trolling presence in the forum even after they have gone to its grave
