A curious species of bird, loosely related to woodpeckers, that produces a wolf-whisle-like call when it locates cheesy-smelling fungi in trees. The species' anatomy is unlike any other bird, as its body is attached upside-down to its legs, in comparison with other birds. As such, it is able to peck with much more efficiency than other woodpeckers, using itself like a pendulum to burrow with force into the tree.
