I went to the party to hear some great music, but Bill's iPod had a Shuffle Fail, so everyone got tortured and had to listen to Lady Gaga for 3 hours straight. It was horrible.

They are both making the same point but think that the other misunderstands. This often ends in extreme bouts of laughter because both parties involved realize their stupidity.
