A brand name that was coined by Matthew Kenneth Gray originally of Santa Cruz County and as of 2003, a resident of Normal, IL. He called a Customs Vans shoe he designed especially for Bill's Wheels of Santa Cruz, CA (a popular skateboarding store) "Flippety Floo shoes" and "an artistic statement" and from there it has potentially become the latest brand synonymous with the Santa Cruz lifestyle.
