Basically, in the December of 2017 Jacksepticeye created the STC stream and Overnight watch which caused the world to create two shifts (the American and the European) basically during these shifts people thought commands might work so they started typing /ZOOM and it became a meme.

A derogatory word towards generation Z; referring to a person who is of generation Z as: inept, narcissistic, egotistical, ignorant, low self esteem, obnoxious, self absorbed, and suffers from board-line personality disorder.

At first, it was exciting until you stated to have 5-8 of them per day. When you get tired of having too many meetings via videoconferencing, you started to get zoomed-up.
