An old item or clothing which hasn't been considered retro yet.

Wearing an old item before it became retro.

1) "I'm keeping all these ties, they're still pre-retro"

2) "I hear Dear Stalkers are back in."
"I've been wearing my Deer Stalker for years"
"Yea, but you've been wearing it when it was totally Pre-Retro"

Pre-doc

Refers to a student (usu. college undergraduate) with aspirations for Phd and/or medical degree (MD). Unlike pre-med, pre-doc does not carry the stigma attached to it.

college student 1: Hey, i noticed that your taking a lot of science classes. are you premed?

college student 2: naw, i m pre-doc!!!
