bold face lie 

A term used in reference to newspaper headlines printed in bold face type, which are outright lies. Such headlines are only intended to sell newspapers, not to publish truth.

Although Truman won the election, the newspaper headline proclaimed "DEWEY WINS" before the election results were official. At best it was wishful thinking; at worst it was a bold face lie. So much for the credibility of the news media.

Sick Lie  

A Sick lie: to have a sick burp, but then purposefully encourage the burning hot sick up and out of the back of your delicate throat and on to such objects such as, tables, power points, electrical equipment and babies. Sick lies can achieve sympathy. They can also in able you to get out of meeting, detentions and lunch out with your step-mum. To pretend to be sick. To deceive your own body.
