Berlin syndrome

This term is used to describe a situation when someone moves to Berlin and suddenly change their appearance and style adapted to the culture of the city. It mostly affects both men and women who dress up in a more orthodox fashion.

Did you see Steve? He caught the Berlin syndrome ever since he moved there. He started painting his nails and wearing skirts.

Berlin Sober

When you're avoiding alcohol completely, but continuing to take any and all other drugs.

Practiced by millenial party-goers desperately trying to get a handle on their rabid alcoholism, or more intuitively by zoomers who don't drink much anyway.

Actually pretty great.

To exist with really no purpose, sort of like a drone piloted by an Alien. Usually if someone is a beev they would be very handsome and insanely tall. If you see one you should hug them tight as they are a once in a life time person.

When you are losing an argument and need to derail the conversation, you suddenly bring up the Berlin Wall. The irrelevance throws the other person off, and you can twist their response to make it look like you won.

Example:
A heated argument is going on.
Person A: "Yeah but here’s the thing, the Berlin Wall."
Person B: "What does that have to do with anything?"
Person A: "Oh, so you hate people who want to reunite with their family?"
Person B: "No…"
Person A: "Exactly."

Berlin

"Berlin" as the slang term for a sedan, also called a berline, comes from a type of horse-drawn carriage that was originally made in Berlin. This term was carried over to early automobiles that resembled these carriages, and "berline" is now the French term for a saloon or sedan.

After picking up the new ride, I proudly told my friends, 'Check out my sleek Berlin—it feels like driving a piece of history on wheels!'
