John Stewart did a great spoof on the swine media last night on the Daily Show. After showing some clips as examples, he mentioned that he's secretly working on a cure for "raccoon flu" in his basement lab. He says there's more money in developing cures for diseases before they exist! Brilliant!

The swine media will probably take that seriously, and run with it.

Social Media Cocky

A person that is good looking and uses social media sites (i.e. Facebook, instagram, twitter, etc.) to make themselves seem cocky and cool. But when meeting the person they are awkward and unsure of themselves.

Girl 1: I met Jeff last night.
Girl 2: Oh how did that go?
Girl 1: He was really only social media cocky, it was unfortunate. He seemed so cool online.

Guy 1 at party: What?! I thought she'd be dancing on a table by now from all her awesome FB and IG posts!

Guy 2 at party: Yeah, you'd think but she has a classic case of social media syndrome (SMS).
