acid moment

A word to describe any of the following:
1. A seemingly ordinary event which has a surreal or hallucinogenic twist...
2. That wierd feeling you get when you feel something is out of place/sync, yet others are oblivious to your
realisation.
3. Any defining moment in a psychedelic experience which has a personal importance or relevance.

The following examples are not necessarily accurate, but are merely a guideline to emphasise the definition :)
1 - acid moment: a neon green tandem bike with pink fluffy pedals riding through the most unpleasant part of town...
2 - acid moment: Deja Vu or any related mindset that relates to the definition...
3 - acid moment: when you realise the universe is not the actual structure around you but the complex synergy of emotions, experiences and choices that define your very existence.

Matt Moment

The act of doing or saying some thing so insanely stupid in front of a group of people that you usually cant even deny what you said. Originated when a high school student did and said the stupidest things anyone has ever seen or heard of.

Kid 1: Yea the food at that bakery was really good.
Matt: Yea one time I went to a bakery and they actually sold baked goods.
Kid 2: Wow, Matt Moment.

A moment of unbelievable, yet hilarious stupidity. Similar to a blonde moment.

"I thought that if i put down the two windows of my car in high wind it would be easier"

"Wow you just had a nuggie moment"

Holden moment

A “Holden Moment” is when a person says something specifically to offend, trigger, or insult someone. Another example is when someone says something sexist or racist in front of/towards a person that the offensive term would apply to.

“Did you hear what joe said?”
“Yeah, that was a Holden moment.”

Elephant moment

An otherwise flawless production's low point.

We’re a bit disappointed we couldn’t get Aspendos, but it’s closed and could have rained even if we’d forced it to open. To make up for this, the stage will be adorned with specially commissioned Mount Nemrut statues of ancient Anatolia. We can be fairly certain that this will look good, but even if it doesn’t, this would just be our “elephant moment.”

A classic social trap in which two conflicting, and normally rational black parties, by each unrationally persuing their self-interest, become caught in mutually destructive behavior.

Nigga Moment: A moment where ignorance overwhelms the logic of an otherwise rational negro man.
