An expression used when describing "the normal pubescent development in a child's life as his/her skin turns from white to colored." This symptom has not yet been proven, but it is believed to be true in Uzbekistan, Bosnia, and other foreign countries.

Can be either performed abruptly, or gradually by distancing communication. This strategy provides the perpetrator the option to revisit the relationship since there is no clear closure.
