A person in one of the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine).
Often used pejoratively to describe a STEM-supremacist, i.e., a person who believes in a hierarchy in which non-STEM fields are 'inferior'. Such a person often believes in a hierarchy among the STEM fields as well.
Comments: Such an attitude may stem (heh) from and be exacerbated by a capitalistic economic system.
