It's bad for people to shoot the government's (The people's) money into their arms but the greatest thing ever when they shoot it into space? So, no, that's not a reason to NOT redistribute wealth to the bottom of the hierarchy. Yes the money is already being redistributed BUT where is it being redistributed to a place that it SHOULDN'T BE? (See the through-line there?) That's the core issue here. Does elon need it more than any random poor person? To NOT GO BANKRUPT? Yes... Yes, absolutely... In general? No. I also don't think that the redistribution need to come from the government, but rather, the employers or from the employers by way of the government.
