A headline in a newspaper or other article that describes Republicans (or other right-leaning individuals) attacking a Democrat (or other left-leaning individual) when that Democrat commits a misdeed. Always written by a reporter with left-wing political views, it will attempt to frame the Republicans as overzealous, and will either downplay, ignore, or excuse the Democrat's misdeed. Commonly done by the New York Times or Washington Post, it is often viewed as a sign of the bias within the media.

An "accident" that leads to a "miscarriage." The termination of a pro-life person's unplanned pregnancy without having a proper abortion performed. Called "Republican" because of the political party's pro-life platform.

Rockefeller Republican refers to a faction of the United States Republican Party who held moderate to liberal views similar to those of Nelson Rockefeller. The term largely fell out of use by the end of the twentieth century, and has been replaced by the derisive term RINOs. Many Rockefeller Republicans have since left office, being replaced by either more conservative Republicans or Democrats & left the party altogether, becoming independents & Democrats.
