When a group of health care workers, on weekend night shift initiate a meeting of the minds via text message ( similar to Batman’s Bat signal) in order to summon select individuals of a busy hospital or department/unit to participate in post work decompression at a nearby bar. The message is often sent by a member of xray, ct , or ultrasound and other participants such as Respiratory therapists, phlebotomists, ekg and ED techs, and nurses can be invited to partake in mandatory shenanigans and tomfoolery after work .During times of ridiculously high volume, dealing with stressful conditions and events , as well as birthdays, Anniversaries, holidays, venting, gossip , and a need to quench “thirst “ for employees to engage in laughter, social lubrication, and in order to survive / move forward and go work the next shift, the code brew message/text must be sent. Code brews serve as liquid amnesia and a method of therapy so the overworked medical professional can sleep better and continue doing the job . It’s a necessary deterrent so individuals do not quit or get fired and instead become legends and icons. Code brew has been a stepping stone for hospital themed bars n mobile bars and Mobile charcuterie.

Get the Code Brewmug. A game involving two or more players and any number of drinks, fluids, whatever have you (note: this game is best played under the influence). Imagine hot potato, but replace your usual projectile with drinks, and swap out throwing a ball or whatever with spitting the liquid into the next player's mouth, otherwise known as the "witch's brew".
After the first player has gargled for 30 seconds, they spit into the next player's mouth, and are given the opportunity to add something to the brew. Spitting out the brew (the witch's brew equivalent of dropping the "hot potato") results in elimination. Rinse and repeat the process until someone either wins by swallowing the "witch's brew" (which requires at least 4 passes of the brew between players), or is the last one standing after all others have spat out the brew.

Get the brew cruemug. The process of brewing six 5 gallon batches of homebrew using only two 15 gallon brew kettles. The process involves topping up the brew kettle with additional wort or water as the boil progresses such that the final volume of the boil is almost the full capacity of the kettle. This yields 4.5 gallons of wort in each fermenter, with slightly higher gravity than the desired initial gravity. 0.5 gallons of water is then used to top up each fermenter to give 6 full carboys of beer.
It was a busy brew day, but we pulled a successful triple lindy brew despite an early boilover and a stuck sparge on the second springboard.
