Stanley Tookie Willaims a co-founder of the notorious L.A. Crips Gang is on deathrow. During his years on deathrow, he has changed his ways, and today he is an anti-gang activist who is an active proponent in saving troubled youth from joining the deadly path of gangs and has written many books telling children reasons to not join gangs. He is a fine example of redemption.
He has been nominated for the Nobel Prize twice, one for peace, the other for literature.

Stanley "Tookie" Williams, cofounder of famous crips gang, sentenced to death on account of four murders and robbery. The prosecuter was a racist and cheated Tookie of his life. He is still to this day on death row, for something there is now proof of his involvement with. He now has helped to make the treaty between bloods and crips, and kept thouseands of kids away from gangs and violence from his award-winning books. See the movie Redemption, it's amazing.
