Synth death

A notoriously difficult section of the Guitar Hero 3 chart "Through the Fire and Flames" by power metal band DragonForce, beginning approximately 3 minutes and 50 seconds into the track and ending with an instrumental bridge. The section is characterized by fast arpeggiating notes that will usually make or break an FC (full combo) of the chart. Synth death is usually done by more skilled players through a method known as "tapping", but can be an extreme point of contention for those who are newer or less experienced at Guitar Hero.
My TTFAF FC run was going smoothly up until synth death made me lose my streak and fail.

Post-Endgame Depression Syndrome

That despondent, can't get out of bed, don't want to watch another Marvel movie again, feeling you get after seeing Avengers: Endgame and knowing that the original Marvel Cinematic Universe Saga has come to an end.
I could barely wake up for work Friday morning after seeing the new Avengers movie. The Post-Endgame Depression Syndrome is really hitting me hard.

The word to end all words. Those who can spell it with the right punctuations in place will ascend to a higher plane of existence.
Spelling bee judge: "Spell whomst'd've'lu'yaint'nt'ed'ies's'y'es'nt't're'ing' "
Kid: "Can you use it in a sentence?"

Spelling bee judge: "whomst'd've'lu'yaint'nt'ed'ies's'y'es'nt't're'ing' is a very hard word to spell"

Post Anime Depression Syndrome

A feeling of depression experienced after finishing a series of anime. PADS for short.

Symptoms include constant thought of the anime, very deep insight, ignoring the people around you, and feeling drowsy.

Some causes:
Being too attached to the characters
Being able to relate to the anime (For example, high school focused anime)

When a person suffers from PADS, they usually long for the life they had to be like the anime, even though they know it will never become reality.
Person 1: Did you watch Angel Beats? Holy crap it was so sad...

Person 2: No, now what did you get on the test?

Person 1: *day dreams*

Person 2: You're suffering from Post Anime Depression Syndrome aren't you?

usually used in the otherkin/fictionkin community- its when you relate heavily with a certain fictional character, but don’t identify as that fictional character. you heavily relate and connect to the character but don't believe you ARE or WAS that character.
